Introduction
Games4Mobile is a mobile gaming subscription service which offers clients access to 500+ games and premium content.
I was asked to design a responsive portal targeting children and parents who like playing games on mobile. I also carried out all digital assets from illustrations, brand design, social media / Google Adwords banners, mobile-first landing pages and animations.
1. Define and understand
Goal: Get more subscription by improving the portal UI with a modern and attractive look and feel.
2. Marketing Research
Personas: Searching for gaming mobile apps was a key factor to find out who was our potential customer, their preferences, what content are they looking for and why they want to purchase the app.
After doing research, we found out that most of our customers were children 6-9 year-old. However, the subscription is for people ageing more than 18. Due to this situation, the marketing and the design team decided to create a design based in parents and children preferences.

3. Visual
Mockups: High resolutions wireframes that shown the design across all device sizes.
This process was very iterative, meetings every day through slack to work improve the designs and to establish brand guidelines.
Typography: 'Proxima Soft', variants: Bold and Regular. It's a very rounded and soft sans-serif font which gives a playful look to the design.
Colours: I choose a colour palette in purple and aquamarine tones. Purple is associated with imagination while aquamarine means joy and relax. Navy blue and Yellow are secondary colours.
6. Conclusion
Communication with the development team and product manager in an iterative way was a key factor to find the best way to implement the designs across different browsers and devices.
